Dear Joe, on this day of goodbye, please know we will do all we can to take up the wheel you had to let go, and we will try to keep your Patsy on a road trip with as many smiles and giggles as we know how. Won't be as good, but we love her, too. Safe journey.

There are no words that can express the loss we all feel. Things just aren't going to be the same. We will miss your wit and humor and that smile. Rest in Peace knowing that we will all watch over Patsy and Eddie and Michael and remind those grandbabies what a great guy you are.

I choose to remember my cousin Joe cracking a joke and laughing. Oh and the twinkle in his eye when he was giving you a hard time. Still he backed that all up with a smile that let you know you were part of his club and you could depend on him if you asked. That is the way he was brought up, old fashioned. We all need a guy like him in our family; someone to laugh with and remind us that life can be good even in tough times. He will be deeply missed, but he lived the best he could and I choose to remember his laugh.
