Joe H. Perkins, passed on June 7, 2014 at the age of 92. Joe was born in Liddieville, Louisiana on September 2, 1921. At Exxon U.S.A, he worked as a Property Tax Agent. Joe was a member of West University Baptist Church where he was a proud member of The Prime Time Singers. He was also a Life Master Bridge player.
Joe is preceded in death by Edward D. Perkins, Vera Watson Perkins, E.D. Perkins, Jimmy Perkins, and Fay Perkins. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie M. Perkins; Daughter, Cherry P. Ouimet and her husband, Bob; Son, Drew E. Perkins and his wife, Carolyn; Grandchildren Clint, Laura Jennifer, Kristen, and Katie; and Great Grandchildren Michael, Luke, Emily, Grant, and Kendall.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 5-8 pm, Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM with a committal service to follow, all at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
