Joe B. Zamora, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away in the arms of his beloved wife Esperanza on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at their Houston home. Joe was born in Galveston, Texas on April 11, 1933. He was proud of his military service, receiving 2 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart while serving in the U S Army during the Korean War. Joe is preceded in death by a son, Pedro Zamora; sister, Catalina Cortez and two brothers, Pedro and Jesus “Moe” Zamora. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Esperanza; children, Jose Zamora, Jr. and wife Ana, Carmen Vargas and husband Jose Felix, Margaret Lopez and husband Tomas, Rachel Gonzalez and husband Jesse, Rose Toruno and husband Joe; 11 Grandchildren; 7 Great-grandchildren; brother, Salvador and sister Mercedes.
