John R. Johnston, 91, passed away on October 2, 2017 in Humble, Texas. He was born September 2, 1926 in Livingston, Texas. John is survived by children: Pansy Bishop & husband James, Dorothy Coker, William Johnston, John R. Johnston Jr., Robert Joe Johnston, and Doyle James Tipton; grandchildren: Paula & Billy Hunt, Danelle & Keith Stewart, Raymond & LaDonna Bishop, Dororthy Hardin & Matt, James E. Tipton; great grandchildren: Blake Bishop, Brittany Bishop, Gaylen Hunt, Terra Hunt, Haylea Bishop, Kaylea Bishop, Raymond I. Bishop, Joseph, Christian Hardwin, Matthew Hardin, Brittany Fennell, Dillon Stewart, and Devin Stewart; great great grandchildren: Hunter Bishop, Logan Bishop, Lana Hardin, and Addison Hardin; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will begin on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 12pm-1:30pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. Graveside Service to follow at 2pm in Brookside Memorial Park.
