John Boyd Laxen

He was the loving son of the late Roderick and Patricia Laxen. He resided in Houston Texas for 37 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by all. John was employed by Rice University for 36 years as an electrician. He loved his job and the people that surrounded him. John enjoyed being outside, fishing, boating, working with his hands and spending time with family and friends.

John will be missed by his loving and devoted wife Mary Laxen, his loving sons Shane Laxen and Cory Laxen, his wife Brandy and his loving grandchildren Brayden and Bailey Laxen. His loving sister Debra Wright and her husband Tim Wright. Johns sister-in-law Dianna Seale and husband Terry. Nephews Robbie Lyons, Ryan Seale, Jason Kent and Jeffery Poynter as well as numerous friends.

Celebration of John’s life will be September 13th at the Fellowship of the Nations Church, located at 13305 Woodforest Blvd. Houston, Texas 77015 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
