To the Menn Family - I was very sorry to hear about the loss of John. John and I worked together at American General for a number years in the Internal Audit Department. He was a very good friend and I will cherish the fond memories I have of him.  I still remember when my first son Darren was born, John made a frame with his name and birthday on it. I will keep you in my prayers and may God Bless you.

To the Menn Family - I was lost for words when I heard the news.  John was one person I could count on for advice and counsel, since he was a past President of the Houston Chapter of Information Systems Audit and Control Association.  I was also proud to serve on his Board when he was President of the Houston Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.  Both organizations are in his debt for his work and support over the years.  Hold tight to your memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and please know that I will always have fond memories of John.

Dear Menn family,
  Our prayers are with all of you, we have some very fond memories of John (or as the girls always called him Mr.Menn.) My girls grew up swimming on the Mission Center Marlins with John as the announcer and Carolyn as the coach, and always eating cici's or pizza hut after every meet. One of their favorite things was swimming in ya'lls old backyard in Mission Bend. Mission Center was never the same after you both left but we will surely treasure all those memories.

Our memories of John go back 30 years to Gulf Oil days and Parkglen West, then to Mission Bend, welcoming newborn Zach and those wonderful Monday evenings with Swim Team and Alief school activities. John will always be Skip's first choice as a trivial pursuit partner- his wit and expertise cannot be matched.
