John Wesley Osborne

Mr. Osborne was born in Borger, Texas 14 July 1930 to Ralph and May Naylor Osborne. John married Nora Immel, the love of his life, 18 January 1947. John and Nora just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in January 2014. They had 3 children born and raised in Borger; Johnny, Sandra and Rickey. John was employed in the floor covering business and in 1968 his business relocated him to Houston Texas.

John was an avid golfer, hunter and outdoors man. John was a family man that enjoyed having the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids around the house.

John is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmie and grandson, Phillip Brandon Green.

John is survived by his wife, Nora; son, John and wife Stephanie of Houston, TX; daughter, Sandra and husband John Danser of Lafayette, LA and son, Rickey and wife Gloria of Kingwood, TX; one brother, Ralph "Buzzy" Osborne and his wife Cora. John has 4 grandchildren; Tonia, Nathan, Wesley, and Allison;

13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

We thank God everyday for you and the special love we shared. We thank you for the special memories you gave us. We see your beautiful face smiling down on us and feel your sweet embrace. And for all of us that love you, your memory will remain in our hearts forever.

A Memorial Service is planned for 10:00 a.m. Friday, 21 February at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston Texas 77039. Cremation is being managed by Brookside Funeral Home.
