

Johnathon Xavier Ramirez was born on November 21, 1999 at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston, Texas. He passed away on February 16, 2024. He was the son of Sylvia Rivera Nickerson and Oscar Ramirez. His mother later married Micah Nickerson, where they raised Johnathon to be the most loving, charismatic individual. Johnathon’s greatest joy in his life was his mother, his son, and his family. He was a remarkable soul who loved to make others happy with his charming mannerisms and witty demeanor. His light and energy were immeasurable. His fun-loving nature and independent attitude created countless friendships and memorable connections. Johnathon was a talented musical artist who wrote songs that reflected his deep thoughts and inner emotions. He also had a passion for fashion and a love for older model vintage vehicles. In his earlier years, Johnathon attended Longfellow Elementary and Johnston (Meyerland) Middle School, where he flourished academically and excelled in orchestra. In 2018, he graduated from Energy High School. He later met Emna Alvarez and in 2020, welcomed into the world his first child, Johnathon Ezra Ramirez. His hard-working, free-spirited mentality led him to work in the industrial field where he became a freelance glass mover for several different companies.
Johnathon is survived by his son, Jonathan Ezra; two brothers, Micah Alexander, and Joshua; his stepfather, Micah Nickerson; his father, Oscar Ramirez; his grandparents, Jose and Carmen Rivera, and Onta Allen; two aunts, Sandra Rivera and Gracie Ramirez; 4 uncles, Jose (Amada), Daniel (Jackie), Antonio (Israela) and Martin Villafana; and a host of stepbrothers and stepsisters, great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Sylvia Rivera Nickerson. He will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten.
