born to Joseph Young, Jr. and Rose Mae Deal in Houston,
Texas.
Johnny was drafted in the US Army on June 6, 1969. He was
honorably discharged on September 8, 1971. He worked as an
accountant at the Harris County Courthouse until he retired.
Johnny was an onery man, who did not often express his
sensitive side. To understand him, you would have to truly
know him. If you knew him, you would understand that he was
a man with a gentle heart, who would do anything for the ones
he loved and cared about. Before his passing, Johnny gave his
heart and soul to the Lord and prayed the prayer of salvation.

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother Rose Mae
Williams; father and stepfather; sister Rose Marie Young; and
nephew Joseph Eugene Young.
Johnny leaves to cherish the memory of his life ex-wife and
good friend Brenda Young; daughter Lakisha Jones; brother
Joseph Young; sisters Shirley Young, Debra Williams and
Brenda Williams; grandsons Derrick Bradley, Jr. and Adrein
Bradley; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews,
family and friends.
