

Johnny Williams was born on May 12, 1965, to Rachel Lane Williams and Sam Dunn Jr., both of whom preceded him in death. He was born and raised in the Studewood neighborhood of Houston, Texas, where he attended Roosevelt Elementary School, Burrus Elementary School, and Hamilton Junior High School.
He is survived by seven siblings: one sister, Fannie Anderson of Houston, Texas; and six brothers, Ramadan A. Malik of Austin, Texas, Bobby Dunn Williams of Houston, Texas, Richard Lane of Houston, Texas, and Haamid A. Malik of Jonesboro, Georgia,
Sammy Early Walker of Beaumont, Texas, and Swanye Leroy Smith of Houston, Texas. Johnny also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as twin great-great-niece and great-great-nephew.
Johnny was a fun-loving, caring, and warm-hearted person who got along well with most everyone he met. He deeply enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially during the holidays. Growing up, Johnny was an athlete with a strong competitive spirit and a love for sports. He enjoyed playing basketball, tackle football, baseball, swimming, shooting pool, playing marbles, and participating in any competitive game he could find.
Johnny shared close bonds with his childhood friends Burnice Knight (Deck) and Anthony Harris (Lil Tony). The loving memories of Johnny Williams will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and loved ones.
