There are no words to express the hurt in my heart. I will miss you deeply. The memory I keep replaying in my head is when you took me to watch “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. I was 6 years old and I was super excited to watch this movie. I WOULD NOT stop talking about this movie. You put your maroon windbreaker on and you told me to get in the car because we were on a mission to add this to our “seen it” list. We drove to McDonalds for dollar cheeseburgers and we headed to Magic Johnson Movie Theatre at Northline Mall. You placed our cheeseburgers in your windbreaker pockets and I was mortified because I knew we were not allowed to bring outside food into the theatre. But you insisted because it was WAY better than overpriced movie theatre food.
It was the best. I had the best time. I remember your very distinct laugh throughout the whole movie. I would give anything to relive that moment of my life with you. I love you grandpa. May you Rest In Peace in heaven with everyone you were looking to find. ❤️
