He met Maria Elena Cordoba in La Brisa, Guanajuato and married on July 7, 1992. Manuel had a passion for farming. His favorite plants to grow were corn, peppers, watermelon, squash, tomatoes, and carrots.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Elena Gonzalez; sisters, Ester Gonzalez, and Eloína Gonzalez; brother, Fulgencio Gonzalez.
He is survived by his son, Jose Guadalupe Gonzalez Cordoba; brothers, Daniel Gonzalez; Ruben Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez, Samuel Gonzalez, and Isaias Gonzalez.
A visitation for Jose will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a Rosary & Prayer Service at 6:30 PM.
