Joe was born November 11, 1949 in Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines to Eduardo Ocampo and Juana Sanchez. He studied at Manuel L. Quezon (MLQ) University, where he received his bachelor’s in Business Management. He immigrated with his wife and son to the United States in 1983 and settled in Texas where he worked for many years at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Violeta Q. Ocampo. He was a dedicated father to his sons: Joseph Ocampo, Jomuel Ocampo and Jerold Ocampo, his daughter: Josephine Ocampo, and his daughter-in-law: Christine Ocampo. Most of all, he was a proud papa to Jaxson Ocampo.
