Joseph Anthony Carrabba, 88, passed away on Sunday, the 3rd of August 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born the 28th of August 1936, he graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1956, where he was a star football player known for his teamwork and dedication.
Mr. Carrabba built a career as the owner of an electrical contracting business, earning a reputation for hard work, integrity, and quality service. He also served his country in the United States Army with pride and commitment.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy, daughters Monica and Charla, parents Louis and Katherine, sister Josie Frances Ditta and her husband Vincent, brother John Patrick, and brother-in-law Efrem (Sam) Samaniego, Jr. Joseph is survived by his brother Frank, sister Mary Ann Samaniego, and nieces and nephews: Louis Ditta (Elda), Francine Danna (Mark), Lisa Rivera (Robert), and Kristi Robishaw (Paul).
The family will gather for a private interment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
