Mr. Joseph Leighton Rivers “Papa Joey”, age 58, passed away suddenly in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 to be with his Father in Heaven. Joey was a man of all trades that had a passion for hunting and fishing; mostly he was loved by all that knew him. Mr. Rivers is survived by his wife Pamela Rivers, Children: Dee Anne Rivers, Karen Rivers Cook & John Lindstrom, Shannon and Sara Corley, John & Kathryn Kelley, and Jeremieh & Michelle Johnson. Grandkids: William, Megan, Leighton, Makenna, Clayton, Beau, Hunter, Kristyn, Justin, Nolan, and Morgan. He will be missed dearly. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 8th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00am in the Grand Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Trayal officiating.
