Joe was an individualistic and independent person, whom desired to maintain warm and harmonious relationships with others. He was a good companion and fun to be with. Charmingly supportive, he gravitated to other people and was highly skilled at understanding others’ needs and motivations being friendly, tactful, and sympathetic. Uncle Joe was a compassionate person with a caring and concerned approach. He loved to laugh and loved reminiscing family stories from the past. Joe valued others and adopted a romantic, idealized version of people and their potential and all his energies were directed towards improving the human condition. Joe loved to travel around the world and tended to live for today with a “you only go around once” philosophy. As a son, brother, brother-law, and uncle you will be missed and will always carry a very special place in our hearts. More than any one thing, we lost a friend.
