Josephine Castro, age 97, of Humble, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Josephine was born to Manuel and Guadalupe Castro in Houston, Texas on August 7, 1927. Josephine had a career in fashion and worked for Esther Wolfe. She had a passion for crocheting and solving puzzles. Josephine is survived by her daughter Graciela Brown and sons Joe Trevino and Antonio Trevino. Grandchildren Angelina Hudson, Berlinda Franklin, Esmeralda Rosales, Jesus (Jr.) Rosales and Johnny Rosales.
A chapel service for Josephine will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. Following the chapel service will be a committal service at 12:30 pm at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009.
