

Josephine J. Rusinovich, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 27, 2011, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 25, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Joseph and Helen Wizbicki.
Josephine was preceded in death by both of her parents and two brothers, Jim and John Wizbicki.
Josephine was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother that will be missed by everyone that knew her. She was a resident of the Houston area since 1968 after her and her husband David relocated from the Baltimore, Maryland area. She became a LVN while working for the Memorial City Hospital. She spent countless hours helping others as a nurse. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and other various crafts.
Josephine is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David W. Rusinovich; daughter, Donna Rusinovich and longtime boyfriend Craig Demaret, of Cornelius, North Carolina; son, Jeff Rusinovich and wife Becky; grandchildren, Bailey Rusinovich and Ryan Rusinovich; sister, Jean Lanasa, of Panama City, Florida; brother, Joseph Wizbicki and wife Kathleen†; nephew, Josh Wizbicki; niece, Kristin Wizbicki; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
A Vigil Service and Rosary will be recited at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. A Memorial Mass will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.
