Joyce Ann Landry of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. Born in Milam County on July 27, 1937, to Woodrow Robert Kuhn and Eileen Loela Schneider Kuhn, Joyce was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
In 1962, she married Larry Joseph Landry, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Joyce worked for 25 years at Brown & Root, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
She is survived by her husband Larry, her son Michael Stephen Landry and his wife Valerie Louise Landry, son-in-law Scott Strickland, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Lynn Strickland.
A lifelong Astros fan, Joyce’s favorite passion was watching the Houston Astros, a joy she shared with her son.
She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home Garden of Memories, located at 1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055, on November 28, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
