

Juan was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves his family to cherish their years together; wife of 52 years, Yolanda J. Alvarez; children Iza Urbina († Joey Urbina), Alejandro Alvarez (Marilia Alvarez), Juan Manuel Alvarez, Jr., (Yasmin Alvarez), Maria Alvarez (Francisco Garza); Eleven treasured grandchildren, Jose, Edwin, Denzel, Alejandra, Juan, Angel, Camila, Romeo, Francisco, Maria Fernanda, Fatima and numerous extended family members.
He was member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and served as Extraordinary Holy Eucharistic Minister and Adult Catechist. He also assisted in multiple Church Events.
Juan was a successful accountant and businessman. He was never scared to take on new opportunities and did everything with honesty and integrity. He had very strong values and was well liked by everyone. He always made time to help others.
He enjoyed music and “carnitas asadas” while he watched soccer games.
Some of his greatest joy came from his children and grandchildren. They created many memories while enjoying time together.
Juan had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He was often spending his spare time researching topics of interest or reading. He was a very smart man.
His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. His legacy will carry on forever.
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to everyone who has been there for us since his passing.
