He is survived by his wife Angela Ramos.
A funeral mass for "John John" will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 1505 Kane St, Houston, TX 77007. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77022 with a reception to follow from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel.
