MENSAJE DE LA FAMILIA
In Loving Memory of a Selfless Mother November 16, 1949 – October 10, 2023 It is with our heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a remarkable woman, our beloved mother, who left us on October 10, 2023 at approximately 1:51pm. Born on November 16, 1949 from Saltillo, Coahuila, she entered this world with a heart full of kindness and an unwavering devotion to her family. From the early days of her challenging youth, she displayed an extraordinary selflessness that would become her defining trait. The adversities she faced only fueled her determination to put her two little girls, Janie Matilde Vasquez and Leticia Ruth Vasquez, first when she married Ignacio Vasquez Castillo. Sadly, widowhood struck shortly thereafter, casting a shadow over her young family. Yet, out of the darkness emerged a newfound love when she met Nicolas Hernandez. Together, they decided to expand their family, welcoming two more little girls, Alicia Cindy Hernandez and Elizabeth Veronica Hernandez, into their home. In the warmth of their shared love, she found solace and happiness, creating a haven for her growing family. Her resilience shone brightest during her battle with life-threatening diseases. She faced each challenge with courage, fighting not only for herself but for the precious family she had built. Her strength became a beacon of hope, inspiring those around her to appreciate the beauty of life even in its most fragile moments. Our mother's legacy is one of love, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to her children. As we say our goodbyes, let us remember her for the joy she brought into our lives and the profound impact of her selfless love. May she find eternal peace, reunited with those who went before her, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be engraved in our hearts. Fly high with the Angels, dearest Mom.
