

Juanita Ann LeDay was born August 25, 1950 in Grand Coteau Louisiana to the late Leona Riggs Guillory and Late L.C. Perrodin. She also had a bonus father, the late Joseph Guillory. In 1968, she graduated from Wheatley High School.
Juanita loved and enjoyed cooking in her earlier years. Working at Steak n Ale, partying with her sisters and road trips were a few of her favorite pastimers. In 1974, she welcomed her first child Damien in her life, with the unioned with Gerald Jean. Fourteen years later, Juanita married the love of her life, Joseph "Bubby" LeDay and welcomed her only daughter and last child, Danitra LeDay. Juanita and Joseph were inseparable. They moved to Texas in 1990 and remained here raising their beautiful family.
Unexpectedly, in 2016 her husband Joseph of 27 years passed away, Juanita continued her fight and lived with her daughter and grandkids. Juanita was greeted by Angels and entered into her Heavenly home, Wednesday, June 21, 2023, while slept at home.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Joseph LeDay; Her mother, Leona Guillory; Father, LC Perrodin and step father; Joseph Guillory, Brother; Harold Riggs and mother in law; Lillia LeDay.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son son Damien Jean, daughter, Danitra LeDay. Grandchildren: JaVon Lykes, Caeden McCain, Ciara McCain and Landren Gray. An Aunt: Maryann Butler; Siblings: Diane Loville (Edmon Loville), Terry Singleton (Larry Singleton), Joyce Guillory, Janet Vaughn (Ebenezer Vaughn), Reginald Guillory & Barbara Guillory; Sisters in Law: MaryAnn Ned, Margaret LaDay & Arlean LeDay; Daughter in Law: Jaime Jean; A host of nieces and nephews friends and bonus grandkids she inherited along the way who she dearly loved. Especially if they could light her a cigarette!!
A memorial service for Juanita will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, 10401 W. Montgomery Rd., Houston, Texas.
