Judith Sally Krause

Judith Sally Krause, of Houston, passed away at her home on Saturday, the 19th of March 2016, at the age of 74. Judy was born on the 22nd of July 1941, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Francis McLaughlin and Marguerite Angle.

Judy’s career took her to the Pentagon working for the Air Force and then for defense contractor RCA. She also spent time in Florida working for NASA. When she moved to Houston, she began working for Chapman Engineers in the oil and gas industry and finally, Krause, Inc. She loved traveling the world but was most comfortable at home reading books and working crossword puzzles.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 23 years, William A. Krause. She is survived by her step family, Ken & Susan Krause, Mike & Nance Krause, Rick Krause, and Bill & Teri Krause; as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to a memorial reception from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening on Friday, the 1st of April, in the library and grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, following a private memorial service for the family.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
