Judith H Walker

Judith H. Walker, 84, of Houston, went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 27, 2023. She was born in Conroe Texas on November 18, 1938, to parents Arville and Eunice House. Judy graduated from Reagan High School and attended Howard Payne University where she received a B.S. in English and History. She was also a member of the Life Service Band.

Her proudest moments were the births of her two daughters whom she shared with her former husband, Earl Walker.

Judy chose a teaching career where she taught at Fonville Jr. High and Sam Houston High School for a combined 37 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Las Vegas. She also loved going to the beach, collecting sea shells, and loved to read. Later in life she enjoyed watching the Astros and Rockets games on T.V., spending time with her grandchildren and playing with her great grandchildren.

Judy is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Jo Pruett; her parents, Arville Finis House and Eunice Wise House. She is survived by her brother, Arville Michael House and wife Gail. Her daughter, Amy Santellana and husband Anthony. Daughter, Robin Sanchez. Grandchildren, Mark Santellana and wife Jessica, Seth Medina and wife Jordan, Kaley Yandell and husband Ryan, Bryanna Sanchez, Matthew Levi Sanchez, Semper Sanchez, and eight Great Grandchildren.

A visitation for Judith will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A burial committal will occur Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas.
