

Julia Patino, 91, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. She was born on February 24, 1924 in Linares, Mexico to Epitacio and Apolonia Gutierrez. On June 23, 1946, Julia married Charles Patino.
Julia worked for Foley’s as a seamstress for twenty-five years. Above her passion for sewing, she also loved to cook, bake, travel and gamble.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jimmy C. Patino; and eight siblings. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles C. Patino; her daughter, Toni M Pilgreen; her grandchildren, Troy Pilgreen and wife Lili, Tracey Palacios and husband John, Tina Pilgreen, Jimmy Patino, Jr., Linda Amador and husband Raul, Charles Patino and wife Andrea; her great-grandchildren, Caitlin Pilgreen, Anthony Wood, Julian Amador, Mya Amador, Jimmy Patino III, Luna Bella Patino, Seth Pilgreen, Penelope Olivia Palacios and Celine Patino; her siblings, Lupe Nino, Clara Garcia and husband Tommy and Joe Gutierrez and wife Betty; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6pm until 9pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in the chapel of Brookside Champions, 3410 FM 1960 West, Houston, Texas, with a Rosary to begin at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 18511 Klein Church Road, Spring, Texas. Rite of Committal will immediately follow in Houston National Cemetery.
