Julia Marie Coats Wallace passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 17, 2015, two days short of her 99th birthday. She was born in Cleveland, Oklahoma, the fifth of six children to C. T. and Anna May Coats. She was the last surviving member of that family. She was also preceded in death by Duane Wallace, her husband of 66 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Trella Collier, Loretta (Dave) Hill, and Virginia (Phil) Olson and their families which include seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Julia was a faithful and dedicated member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Houston for 75 years. She enjoyed supporting world missions and sharing the good news of Jesus with children, both at church and in home Bible Clubs.
