

Karen met Raymond Alexander in Texas and together they started a family. Karen worked as a Daycare Director Housewife at Full Bright for over 20 years. She had a passion for cooking, cleaning, and taking care of her family. Karen enjoyed listening to music, the holidays, and was highly fond of the colors red and pink. She loved her two dogs, Lilly and Willy. Karen expressed her love in many forms, but one that cannot go unnoticed was the display of photos of everyone she loved hanging on the walls of her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Alexander; son, Kenneth Frederick; mother, Kathleen Daily; father, Charles Pressler; sisters, Debra Hanson and Charlene Brown; brother, Terry Baker.
Karen is survived by her daughters, Pennie Johnson (Rick), Johnna Herrin (Jax), and Cindy Alexander; sons, James Frederick, Clyde Lewis, and Tommy Lewis; grandchildren, Sean, Ashley (Justin), Raymond, Tristan, Hunter, Caden, Ben, Savannah, Kenneth, Davan, Joseph, Lewis, and Haylee; great grandchildren, Emmily, Austin, Lizzy, Cheyenne, Collin, Corbin, Jaxon, and Addison; special niece, Klene Janak; daughter-in-law, Timberly Blake; best friend of over 40 years, Ruby; along with numerous family and friends.
A visitation for Karen will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
