Kathleen Minerva Fultz

Kathy passed away at home on March 16, 2026, in Wadsworth, Texas, where she resided with her loving son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Carrie Fultz. Kathy is now in heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, where she longed to be. It is no surprise the Lord called her home on the 3rd month and 16th day of the month, since she lived her life according to scripture, John 3:16 being the most essential Bible verse of her faith. John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Kathy was born on May 10, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Rufus and Helen Knotts where she spent her early childhood before moving to Galveston, Texas. Kathy attended early education at Grace Episcopal Church School before attending Ball High School in Galveston Texas.

While in high school, Kathy met and married the love of her life, Jesse Joel Fultz. Kathy and Jesse were married for 39 years before his passing. Together they raised seven children, all of whom Love their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Their family includes: Diana (Benjamin) Wyche, Bonnie (Richard) Crawford, Darla (Jack) Crumbaker, Carol (Mark) Riley, Lori (deceased) Edens, Joel (Vanessa) Fultz, and Lonnie (Carrie) Fultz. The family continued to grow to 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Kathy’s sister, Edith Mahon and her family residing in Massachusetts.

Kathy was a devoted Christian woman who loved serving the Lord. Kathy, an accomplished pianist, served alongside Jesse, dynamic worship leader, until his death. Her fingers continued to dance on the keyboard for years thereafter as long as she was able. Kathy sets an example as an amazing legacy, bearing witness to the mission of bringing others to Christ.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, and cherished daughter, Lori, as well as Kathy’s brother, Tommy Knotts. Kathy will rest together with Jesse and Lori at Brookside Memorial Cemetery in Houston Texas.
