Kenneth Armstrong Jr., age 91, of Katy, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
Kenneth Armstrong Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather was born on March 24, 1931 in San Diego, California to loving parents, Kenneth Raymond Armstrong and Ruth Cornelia Armstrong.
He graduated from Midwestern State University in 1961 with a Bachelors of Science Degree.
Kenneth is a Korean War Veteran with a rank of Airman First Class. Kenneth had a career as a Merchant Marine achieving the classification of First Mate.
Kenneth is preceded in death by father Kenneth Raymond Armstrong, mother Ruth Cornelia Armstrong, wife Dorothy Gene Armstrong, sister Lona Jean Boylston, and son Brian Arthur Armstrong.
He is survived by son Kenneth Alan Armstrong and wife Beatrice Castillo Armstrong, daughter in law Sandra Marie Armstrong; four grandchildren Kenneth, Rebecca, Melissa, Michelle; three Great Grandchildren Kiera, Rex, Ely and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service for Kenneth will follow from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
