Kenneth Wayne Gipson Sr.

Kenny Wayne was born on February 06, 1959, to parents Jimmie Lee Gipson and John Linsey in Keithville, Louisiana. He attended Walnut Hill and Summerfield Elementary Schools, Ridge Wood Middle School, Huntington High, and Grambling State University where he graduated in 1983. He moved to Houston, TX, and married Nancy in 1983. From this Union, they have three sons Marcus, Kenneth Jr., and Stephon. He was an Owner-Operator Truck Driver for CBSL and loved traveling to different places, golf, dominos, and fishing were his favorite things to do. He loved his family and would do everything in his power to make sure they were taken care of. Family events or just hanging out made him so happy. We love you Kenny and will miss you forever.

He is preceded in death by his son Kenneth Wayne Jr., Mother Jimmie Lee Davis, Father John Linsey, and two brothers Julius and Ricky.

He Leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 40 years Nancy Gipson his sons Marcus (Ada) and Stephon (Pamela). Grandchildren: Raelyn, Marcus Jr. Kaien, and Kenneth III. Sisters Judy and Debra Kay, Brother Robert. Uncle Sonny. Nieces Athena, April, Felicia, LaKeisha, Monica, and Faith. Nephews Fredrick, Broderick, Ricky Jr, and Cedric. Bonus Grandchildren Jayden, Kylia, and Remington. As well as a host of great nieces, nephews, and friends.

When I met you, I knew you were my True Love. When we said our vows I meant every word. Love, Honor, Cherish, through good, bad sickness and health till death do us part. Death took you away from me but my love for you is eternal. I will cherish our time together and keep you in my heart always.
