On the1 year anniversary of your death, I  came to pay my respects. I  lay flowers atop where I'm told you are buried as no marker has been placed. May you continue to rest well, my dear friend.

Kenny and I met at the age of 15. After many years (34 to be exact), we reconnected and enjoyed getting to know each other once again. The past 11 years I came to know one of the best people I have ever known. Kenny was someone who mastered whatever he did. He researched and made sure that he gave it his all. He was a caring, loving person with an amazing goodness that is rare. My condolences to his parents, Ken & Gwen, his son Curtis and all his extended family. I know that he touched my life and many more that we will never know. His impact here will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace my friend and may you fish now to your heart's content.

I am so sad to hear of Kenny’s passing, I hope that Uncle Kenneth, Aunt Gwen, and Curtis find peace and comfort in the days to come. I am keeping you all in my prayers.

I have tried to find Curtis on FB, but no luck. I just want you to know how lucky I was to be friends with your father. We grew up right down the street from each other on Hartwick. He would drive me to school or his dad, Mr. Kitchens would drive us in the Falcon or some old truck he had. I always thought Mrs. Kitchens was so beautiful in her Trans am with the T Tops. He took me to my first concert, Def Leopard! He fell asleep cuz he had worked all day and I had to wake him up when it was over to drive us home. We still talked all the time, but he wasn’t the same. I will always miss him and the service today was beautiful. I wish I could’ve stayed longer to talk to Mr. And Mrs. Kitchens again, but I don’t know if they would remember me. You are all in my prayers, Cathy DeLaune.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My heart is so broken. I will forever treasure the memories when all of you lived next door to me. Kenny was such a gentleman, had nice manners, always talked to us. He would call me every now and then, and that made my day. Sending everyone hugs, love, and prayers. ❤️😢❤️😢🙏🙏

Those memories of Kenny will never leave me. Even with the distance from Texas to Georgia we stayed in touch. Plans we had. He was coming to Georgia for couple weeks to do some fishing and shooting. Kenny is my first cousin. The cousin keeping me in touch with my Kitchens family. He will always have that special place in my heart.

     Kenny kept me up to date on uncle Kenneth and aunt Gwen. Kenny use to tell me how good his mom could cook. I learned that first hand years ago.  I was blessed to have him in my life for sure.

Kenny and I first met while working together at MCSO in the mid 90’s. Kenny saw something in me that I had yet to see and took me under his wing in learning the job. He helped me grow during my time there and influenced my attending the police academy. 

We were able to reconnect years later and had many great conversations and stories we shared. I will forever be grateful for the time, effort and friendship you invested in me. Rest peacefully my friend.

It’s so sad to hear this information. 
It was a wonderful friend. Will see him again one day.
