Kenneth Lawrence Nolden Jr.

Mr. Kenneth Lawrence Nolden, Jr. was born on March 14, 1975 to the late Kenneth Lawrence Nolden, Sr. and Sarah Nolden of Houston, TX. He was the oldest of all of his siblings. He was reared in Houston, TX and West Point, TX, where he also attended school.

Kenneth confessed his belief in Christ at an early age at West Point Baptist Church. Kenneth attended Waltrip High School and later received his GED. He was a truck driver for 15+ years until his health began to fail. Kenneth loved his family and especially cherished his relationship with all of his children.

On August 5, 2021 at 12:53am, Kenneth was called to his Heavenly Home. He was preceded in death by his oldest son: Demetrius Ellison, father: Kenneth Lawrence Sr., a special aunt: Diane McMurry, 3 uncles: Kerr Jo McMurry, Danny McMurry, and Billy Ray McMurry, his maternal grandfather: Joe McMurry and paternal grandmother: Nettie Mae Nolden of Smithville, TX.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his loving memories: his mother, Sarah Nolden, maternal grandmother: Winonia McMurry, 5 children: Jade Keys, Dameon Ellison, Derrick Ellison, Asia Nolden, and Tre’Veon Nolden, a grandson: Elias Keys, a brother: Donnie (Nyka) Nolden, 2 sisters: Christina Nolden and Patricia (Barry) Graves, 3 aunts and 5 uncles from his maternal side. He also leaves behind 2 sisters and 1 brother from his paternal side, a very special friend Arthur Murdock as well as a host of other family and friends.

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088.
