1921-2016
KEVIN WALSH passed away July 24, 2016 in Sugar Land, TX. Born July 5, 1921 in Limerick, Ireland to William and Catherine Walsh, he served in the Irish Army from 1941 to 1946 rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He emigrated to America in the '50s, attained US citizenship and married the love of his life, Audrey Burns, in September 1962 in Elizabeth, NJ. After working for various construction firms, he ran his own construction company in Houston, TX, retiring in 1984. A devout Catholic and a Knight of Columbus member, he attended the parishes of Holy Ghost, St. Thomas More and Holy Family.
Kevin is survived by his only child, Barbara Walsh Arroyo, and preceded in death by his lovely Audrey, brother, Father Joseph, twin sister Monica, sisters Breda, Mary, Pauline, Nancy, and two siblings that died at birth.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 2 pm at Advantage Funeral Home Chapel, 7010 Chetwood Dr., Houston, TX 77081. A private memorial service will be held in August.
