

Lancelot spent his formative years in Jamaica, where he graduated from a Catholic high school before earning a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from New York University. His professional journey was diverse and impactful, spanning careers in accounting, real estate, marketing, and including work with Hilton Hotels & Resorts. His final role was in real estate at the Rodeo Palms Suburban Community. He was also a proud member of the Texas Real Estate Commission.
Lancelot was married to Theodora Yolanda Randle-Harley for 23 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and shared passions. He was a man of many interests—he loved playing golf, traveling, exploring nature, tending to his plants and flowers, and cooking, especially his signature stew peas and other Jamaican dishes. His deep appreciation for culture and beauty was also reflected in his love of Jamaican music and art collecting.
Lancelot is preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Louise Harley, and his brother, Milton Harley.
He is survived by his beloved wife Theodora; his children Erik Harley, Jason Harley (wife Josie), and Catherine Harley; and his cherished grandchildren Aiden, Kyla, Harper, Gabriella, Cameron, Christian, Aaliyah. And his memory will always be in the hearts of his brothers Lewis Harley, Sidney Harley, Lyndon Harley, Lawrence Harley and his extended family and friends.
A funeral service to honor Lancelot’s life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Brookside Funeral Home – Champions, located at 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, Texas 77068.
Lancelot will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and zest for life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
