Larry graduated from Aldine High School in 1961 where he met his lifetime love, Linda Sue Brock. They later married on June 12th, 1965, and were fortune to have celebrated over fifty years together. Larry worked for over forty years as an electrician at Union Pacific Railroad where he demonstrated a strong work ethic and gained many lifetime friends. He had a passion for his family, who he would do anything for, as well as church, where he enthusiastically played drums in the band.
Larry was a devoted dad whose steady presence, wisdom, humor, and unconditional love shaped the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his generous heart and countless ways he showed up for his family.
Above all else, he cherished his family. He took great pride in being a father and grandfather, and some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people he loved most.
Guided by his faith and love for his church family, Larry lived with compassion, humility, and grace. We find comfort in knowing he is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who went before him. Despite facing health challenges in recent years, he continued to demonstrate courage, resilience, and deep appreciation for the care and love shown by family and friends.
Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely. His legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who knew him.
