Lawanda June Hill Harris, born on February 29, 1940, in Longview, Texas to Lou Ella Pierce Hill and Richard Benjamin Hill entered eternal rest on October 18, 2013. She married R.J. Harris Sr. in Conroe, Texas on December 22, 1955. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister: Mary Linda Cofield, brothers: Robert Lee Hill, Douglas R. Hill, one niece and two nephews. Her surviving family includes her daughter, Lynda G. Harris, San Angelo, Texas, sons, Robert J. Harris Jr., Surfside, Texas, Kenneth R. Harris, Houston, Texas, and Jerry L. Harris, Cypress, Texas. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and sisters: Geneva Shaw, Emma Zeck, and Bennie Winn and brothers: Henry Hill, Ernest Hill, John P. Hill and Thomas Hill; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
