

Lawrence was born to Leandro and Lydia Basa July 23, 1959 in Quezon City, Philippines. He is the eldest of three siblings, Lilybeth and Lynn. In 1969, Lawrence received Christ to be his personal Lord and Savior of his life. From Preschool to high school, Lawrence attended Grace Christian School in Quezon City. After High School, Lawrence did two years of full time training for ministry of the Gospel. Lawrence received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in University of Santo Tomas. After college, Lawrence resumed his full time training of the Gospel in different localities such as Metro Manila and Taiwan. Lawrence started to preaching the Gospel and serving the young people. During this time, Lawrence met the love of his life, Maria Charito Del Rosario, and were engaged on June 12th, 1988. Lawrence then immigrated with his parents in October 1989. On January 30, 1990, Lawrence and Charito got married in Flushing, New York. In November of 1990, the happy couple settled down in Houston Texas. Lawrence was employed in Premium Computers for 5 years and moved to Professional Compounding Centers of America as a Production Analysts and prepacker till this present day. During this time, the family found their home church in Houston Christian Assembly. In addition to his work, Lawrence served as a speaker, a teacher of the young people, and a dish washer in the churches of Houston Christian Assembly, Dumble, and Galveston Christian Assembly for over twenty years.
Lawrence was always interested in history. He collected many interesting artifacts over the years like carved ostrich eggs, a bronze replica of the Ark of the Covenant, and a shofar from Israel. He loves God’s chosen people and the Land of Israel. The things he loved most was spending time with family. He would always find ways to bring the family together. He also likes bringing his second family together, which are his brothers and sister in Christ.
Lawrence is survived by his mother Lydia, his wife Charito, his son Levi-Aaron, his sisters Lilybeth and Lynn, his three nieces Tiffany, Genevieve, Hannah Lynn, and his Nephew Nathaniel Davis.
