Leonardo Jimenez Garcia

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leonardo J Garcia Sr., who passed away on 5/15/2025 peacefully in his sleep at home. Born on November 5,1945 in Driscoll, Texas. Leonard Garcia was a migrant worker throughout Western US growing up. He was a carpenter by trade during his adult life. As a matter of fact, he built his own home for his family 52 years ago.

Leonard Garcia is survived by his kids, son Joe Angel Garcia, son Leonard J Garcia Jr., his wife [Annmarie Garcia], son Steven Garcia, his wife, [Melody Garcia], his grandchildren, Ashlyn Montalbo, Natalie Delatorre, Camden Garcia, Jocelyn Garcia, and Ivan Garcia. Great grandchildren, Anna Lynn Montavo, Elijah Delatorre, Ethan Delatorre, Erron Delatorre, Mia, and Sophie Garcia. Also, three sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by son Jesse Garcia and grandson Danny Rey Garcia.

A Memorial will be held on Friday May 23, 2025 at Brookside Funeral Home- Cypress Creek 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, Texas 77095 at 4PM.

We would like to thank a few people who helped in caring for Mr. Garcia and were there for the last 10 years. Our Children Christopher, Lauren, Mikey and Ms. Jeanine Perez, who loved Mr. Garcia like their own Grandfather.
