Leslie Ann Robinett Perryman

Leslie Ann Robinett Perryman passed away on Sunday, the 19 of February, 2017, in Houston, Texas. Ann was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on December 16, 1931, and was the daughter of Ewell J. Robinett, and wife, Leslie White Robinett. After graduating from Paschal High School in Ft. Worth, Ann earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Texas at Austin. In 1952, she married Wynne F. Perryman, a Ft. Worth oil and gas landman; and soon thereafter they moved to Houston, Texas. Her husband of almost 60 years died in 2009.

She was an active Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni and served as Chairman of the Theta Charity Antiques Show in Houston. Ann was also an active volunteer docent at the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens in Houston for many years.

Ann is survived by a daughter, Marion Perryman Liedtke and husband, Cadell Smith Liedtke; a son, James Shelton Perryman and wife, Patricia Ann Perryman; a brother, John David Robinett and wife, Barbra Robinett; a brother-in-law, John Caswell Perryman and wife, Sue Perryman; granddaughters, Leslie Liedtke Fertitta and husband, Michael Fertitta, Wynne Liedtke Brown and husband, Lewis Brown, Bessie Liedtke Doffermyre and husband, William Doffermyre, Claire Liedtke Arnot and husband, Bates Arnot, and Sarah Ann Perryman, as well as fifteen great-grandchildren.

The memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February, 23, 2017, in the Hunters Creek Chapel of Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway in Houston, where Rev. Kristin M. Huffman will officiate. Prior to the memorial service, the family will have gathered for a private internment ceremony at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston.
