From the  first time I met Ms Leticia  I know she was such a loving lady.  She’s the great grandmother of my 2 grandsons and the grandmother of my only daughter in law Kristina Sibayan.She was always present to our grandsons special occasions from their baby showers, their day of births, their birthdays and other special occasions  Thanksgivings and Christmas.  Knowing  her for so short a time but her sweet memories will always be a part of me.
She will be missed much  but God knows best. 

My grandma nanny, she was loving and kind.She always made her family top priority and loved each and everyone of us.One of my favorite memories was when we would go out and pick berries and water her plants.I’m so deeply sadden she is gone, but I know she is having the time of her life right now with God.No pain or suffering but peace.I will always love and miss you nanny ❤️❤️

My heart is filled with so many happy memories of my Nanny I can’t just pick one. She was the loving person I knew. She loved having all of her family around. I remember being a kid and always wanting to be at my Nanny and Papa Ed’s house, taking trips to the beach house, or going shopping with my nanny. She loved shopping. And when I was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes she was at every doctors appointment with me along with my mom. Her and Papa Ed were the first ones at the hospital while I was having my C-section for the twins. She always stuck up for my sister and me, she would say “okay Nancy leave her alone” while she hugged me lol. She showed me so much love and what I would do to just hear her voice one last time. I love you Nanny so much, I know you’re in Heaven sitting next to God watching over all of us. ❤️

Letty was a great mother in law that cared deeply about her family. Her and I disagreed from time to time but had a good relationship. I will miss her dearly. She is always in my thoughts and forever in my heart.

I remember my mom (Nancy) and dad would always send Karissa and I to stay the night with Nanny and Papa Ed. We loved spending time with Nanny because she was such a generous and loving grandma to us. She would always make us our favorite food to eat and let us have ice cream from their deep freezer. She would take us to the Dollar Store and Fallas and buy us clothes and things. That's just what we always did even into our teenage years. Our favorite past time was shopping with Nanny. I miss hearing her say "Hey, Tina!" with such an excitement in her voice. I deeply miss Nanny. Love you Nanny and Papa Ed ❤️

As a young child, Growing up and going to Houston to spend time with my tia Lety and hanging out With my cousins and just talking and having tons of fun, cleaning the house  and DANCING  with her.

As an adult, just hanging out in the beach when she would come visit my mom.  Us Hanging out in the famous recliners in the living room And her talking about everyone in Houston and how happy she was.  Ahhh — the famous bench outside just sitting in the evenings and chitchatting about anything and looking at the stars and swearing we saw UFO’s and drones moving all over the skies.  And of course DANCING  with her.  My Tia Lety loved ❤️ To Dance.  

With a Heavy Heart I will miss you so much, only God knows his reasons and why’s.  Needless to say I am so devastated by her loss.  We talked about the Bible a lot and I remember her always telling me “We make peace with God,  We Accept what happens and focus in Life”(recliner memories).  I am so sad right now and I perfectly understand things happen for a reason in life even a loss, since We just can’t see beyond the bend in the road, only God only can see that.  

I remember my trips to  Houston to go visit you when I was a teenager; I would refer to you as my cool Aunt to others. Because I was able to talk to you about anything.  I remember your great big hugs and telling me oh your so big and beautiful.
So Grateful I got to see you at my daughter’s Sweet 16; I will  treasure that moment forever!

Tia you were taken from us too early but I understand.  Now your with Welita.

Christmas and I was twelve ....you gave me a hug & kiss and told me you loved me .....when you smiled your eyes smiled.  My heart melted.

As my brother Ed and wonderful wife Leticia (Lettie) made visits to N. C. to visit with his mom and his family and friends, we got to know Lettie.  Also myself, my mother (Ed's mother), and Ed's nephew Chris Batson flew to Texas to attend the wedding of Ben and Laci Fryar.  We stayed with Ed and Lettie who were so gracious as we stayed there for a few days.  I remember a few years ago when mama had her pacemaker put in, Ed and Lettie were here and Lettie asked if she could pray for our mom. and I was so glad to have her do this before mama was taken to have this done.  What a sweet and to the point prayer.  I will not forget this.  Lettie was a Christian.  She was not perfect.  She was a sinner saved by the grace of Jesus Christ by the giving of HIS life on the cross and being raised on the 3rd day for forgiveness of our sins.  He took our place on the cross.  Lettie accepted this free gift and that is the reason she is in Heaven now with our Lord.  We and our brother Ed, mostly will miss you.  One day we will see you again.  To Ed and to Lettie's sisters, children and grandchildren, I want you to know your wife, sister, mother and grandmother loved each of you so much and wants to see you in Heaven with her at your appointed hour.
