Born on the 19th of November 1920, in Hubbard, Texas, to Harold D. and Vestal Wilkes, Libby Sue was a lifelong resident of Houston, attending Sam Houston High School, Texas Christian University and the University of Houston. She and her husband A.J. Walker owned Texas Electrical Machinery, which she continued to oversee after his death. She loved golfing, bowling, and fishing Galveston Bay with A.J. She was lively and fun, infusing every occasion with family and friends with her special brand of charm. Her optimism and zest for life carried her through down times and made the good times that much better. She will be missed by all who knew her.
The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to caregivers Marilyn Sauceda, Minnie Molina and Sarah Eggert, the wonderful staff at The Cottage of Spring Branch, Hospice Compassus and Dr. Jeffrey Lee for their many years of loving care.
