Lillie Marie Herrera

Lillie Marie Herrera, age 59, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday February 20, 2018. Lillie was born July 22, 1958 in Houston, Texas. On, October 25, 1989, Lillie married the love of her life Sergio Herrera.

Lillie worked for Aldine School District for many years in the transportation department. She had a passion for sewing and playing bingo.

Lillie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Sergio Herrera; children and their spouses Paul Mata and wife Edith, Marcos Mata and wife Isabel, Christina Mata, Daniel Mata and wife Heather, Augustine Mata and wife Lisa, siblings and their spouses, Martin See and wife Joselli, Cheryl Stephens, Karol Escobar, Michael Hartner, grandchildren Ashley Mata, Juan Manuel Balles Jr., Desiree Mata, Liana Mata, Alexis Duque, Destiny Duque, Jordan Mata, Paul Mata, Augustine Mata Jr., Eladio Mata, grandchildren Danielle Silva, Fransisco Silva, Nathan Mata, Iziah Mata, Logan Mata, Marcos Mata Jr. and great-grandchildren Mariyah Balles, Juan Manuel Balles III and Aleah Guardiola.

Lillie was preceded in death by; parents Martin See Sr. and Doris Hartner, and grandparents Flossie Grippie, Kenneth Fall and Otto See, Pearl See.

A visitation will occur Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, the funeral service for Lillie will be held at 2:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home.
