

I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it’s time I travel on. So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. Linna Mae Walker was born July 22, 1948 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Mary Darjean and Paul Theodore Guillory. She departed this life on February 14, following a long illness.
She was baptized in Lawtell, Louisiana and worked for Zenith Administration for over 20 years. She was a faithful member of St. Peter Claver. She was a dedicated mother, wife, sister, aunt, and grandmother. On August 26, 1973 she married Jeffro Walker, Jr. and they had a total of six children.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband of 39 years, Jeffro Walker, Jr.; 4 children & 2 step children: Darnell (Jennifer) Guillory of Port Arthur, TX., Mark Walker, Reggie (Tamica) Walker, Paul Walker (Tangela), Jeffro Walker, III (Renita) all of Houston, TX., Joyce McPherson (Steven) of Cleveland, TX.; 4 sisters: Irma (Harold) Manuel of Port Arthur, TX., Priscilla (Kenneth) Fontenot of Lawtell, LA., Constance (Reginald) Martin of Humble, TX., Janice (Wortie) Riggs of Houston, TX.; 5 brothers: Theodore (Phyillis) Guillory, Ray Guillory (Emma) both of Lawtell, LA., Gilbert (Zenobia) Guillory of Opelousas, LA., Terrance (Ethel) Guillory, and Edmund (Ann) Guillory all of Houston, TX. She leaves behind 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father Mary Darjean and Paul Theodore Guillory, Sr., 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
