

Born December 6, 1926 in Kaiping, Guangdong, China
In April 1947, Robert F.S. Gor Sr. traveled back to Kaiping, China to marry Liu K. Wong. Robert returned to the United States to continue working.
In 1950, Liu traveled to Hong Kong and then to the United States to join her husband. Together, they moved to Port Arthur, Texas to begin their family and eventually settling in Houston, Texas. Continuously working in a grocery store, they finally retired in 1982. After the passing of her husband in 1992, Liu continued maintaining a home, yard, and garden. In 2016, Liu gave up housekeeping and moved into Clarewood House. Here she developed a social life. Her proudest moment was being named “Puzzle Queen”.
Liu Gor is survived by son, Rui Sheng Ao, wife Liu Chu Chow; daughter, Jane Stephens; son, Robert Gor Jr., wife Jenny Gor; daughter, Dolly Louie, husband, Raymond Louie. Proud grandmother to Jin Ai Ao; husband, Shao Tong Guan, Helen Ao, husband Homer Wang, Elaine Ao; husband, Erik Nguyen, Wei Qiang Ao, Karl Stephens, Jeremy Gor, Kinsey Talavera, Jason Louie; wife Ashlee Louie, Luke Ward, Lei-leen Ward and Levi Ward. Proud great grandmother to Jessica Wang, Vicky Wang, Richard Wang, Edison Nguyen, Vianna Nguyen, Eliza Talavera, Rubin Talavera, Mason Talavera, and Cayden Louie. Liu was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gor Sr., son-in-law Roger Stephens, son, Thomas Gor, daughter, Sue Jane Gor, daughter, Shirley Ward and son-in-law, Brent Ward.
