Lloyd Miller Frey

He enlisted in the Army Air Corp on July 11, 1942 and served as a tail gunner on B-24’s in Italy. His bomber was escorted by the Tuskegee Airmen (Red Tails). He graduated from Louisiana State University and was employed by Standard Oil and Gas Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma before being transferred to Houston. He later joined Texaco Oil and Gas before becoming self employed as a certified public accountant.

Lloyd is survived by his daughters Janet Rutkowsky and Jennifer Frey; his son-in-law Randall Rutkowsky; his grandchildren Krystle Rutkowsky and Kimberly Rutkowsky; and his great grandchildren Richard, Aidan and soon-to-be twins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Martha C. Frey and his second wife, Margaret Jo Frey.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:30AM at the Church of the Holy Apostles, 1225 West Grand Parkway South, Katy, Texas 77494. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
