Lloyd R. Wilke, 77, of Houston, Texas, went to Heaven May 4, 2012. He was born in West Columbia, Texas. He is survived by his wife, I. Louise Wilke, his brother Raymond Wilke, sisters Corine Konvicka and Coline Newman, his son Michael Wilke, daughter Barbara Mundy, stepdaughters Kathy Johnson and Laura Zimont, and many beloved grandchildren. Lloyd, called "Wilke" by family and friends, was a well known figure in the North Heights Brooksmith subdivision where he could be seen on his daily walks collecting aluminum cans and visiting with friends and neighbors in the area. Services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home at 2 pm, on Thursday May 10, 2012.
