Lorene Blanton Payne

Lorene Blanton Loftis Payne born to Will and Sara Blanton on January 27, 1932. She obeyed the gospel at age 13. She received her formal education at Laville C. High School. Then she went to Jarvis Christian College and received her bachelors in mathematics. She target special children on the job for many years. She was the 9th child. The queen and rock of her children and others. She was a beautician, machine operator, seamstress, chef cook, Harris County.

She was a mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother, and God's mother of Mary. This was her motto, do what you can, while you can, and by the grace of God, you will make it. She was a a pillar for Mary's people and she loved it.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Carolyn Ann Loftis; a granddaughter, Cecilia Leonard (Andre), 3 great-grandchildren, Jeremy Andre and Latoya Leonard; two God daughters.

She was a gifted and talented person. She loved children and loved to feed you. She was a humorous person.
