

Her spirit courageously battled cancer, and her life serves as an inspiration to many. Lori is survived by husband, Larry; her daughter, Anna Claire, age 9; her step daughter, Kortni Taft and her husband, Josh. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Sue and Keith Kaan; her father, Mike Williams and stepmother Judy; her brothers, Michael and Brian; and special grandchildren, step siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Born in Houston, Lori spent years as an established hair stylist and makeup artist, later changing careers to professional photography. Lori's life always reflected beauty and elegance in every way. Travel was one of her passions, as well as enjoying the arts. Larry has always been her loving partner, and Anna Claire, her sunshine. Lori's giving heart, warmth of spirit, and delicious sense of humor enriched everyone who encountered her. She was a "fine Texas lady".
The memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Monday, the 11th of July, at West University Baptist Church, 6218 Auden Street in West University Place, where Rev. Shannon Tanner, Pastor of the Crosspoint Campus, is to officiate. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent Fellowship Hall.
