Lorraine Frieda Bryant

Today are hearts are broken as we all mourn the passing of Lorraine Frieda Bryant, born Oct 1,1927 to Frieda and Anthony Truhon. She died peacefully on December 28,2022, and did not suffer.She was the 3rd child born in succession. Her older brother Tony, and older sister Gloria were there to greet her. 13 years later her baby brother Joseph would arrive complimenting the Truhon klan. Her husband, Claude aka “Jumpy” pre deceased her in 1999. They were happily married for over 54 years She was a gifted singer and actually recorded a song, which never made the charts. Her 5 children Robert (stillbirth), Richard (pre deceased), Sandy, James and Billy (pre deceased, and most recently adopted, Emma. She thought the world of Denise (Michaels wife), who cared for her in the last years of her life.

She loved her 5 grandchildren, Michael, Lori, Eric, Jason, and Tera. In addition, there are 7 great grandchildren Michael, Kate, Matthew, Truhon, Cali, Luna and Lucas. As well as, 12 nieces and nephews, Joseph, Christine, Stephen, Kenneth, Karen, Barbara, Lynn, Danny, Lloyd, Brandy, Brian, Donna (deceased).She was kind and generous and loved her family. She lived a long life filled with memorable times residing in New York, Kentucky, Indiana, Florida and Houston. She was also a person that shared her faith and love of God, to whomever she met.

She is being remembered at the Brookside Funeral Home, Cypress Creek, Houston, Texas, 281) 345-6061, on January 6, 2023 at 12:00 pm. We also request that in place of flowers, you donate to Alzheimer’s Association in her name, and she will be cremated and joined with her husband to rest in peace.
